Montréal celebrates it’s 13th edition of Le Mois de la Photo à Montréal (month of photography) with 25 exhibitions in 14 locations gues curated by British curator Paul Wombell. The theme of Le Mois de la Photo is “Drone: The Automated Image,” which explores the relationship between the camera and the human body. Exhibition sites include Canadian Centre for Architecture, contemporary art center Skol, Darling Foundry, Galerie B-312, MAI (Montreal, intercultural arts) House la culture Frontenac, Maison de la Culture Marie-Uguay, Maison de la Culture Plateau-Mont-Royal, The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, McCord Museum, OPTICA: a Center for Contemporary Art, SBC Gallery of Contemporary Art and VOX Center of the Contemporary Image. The Month of Photography in Montreal will collaborate with Make Public Art to present an outdoor exhibition on Monk Boulevard in the Ville-Emard neighborhood.
