“The Swap” is a project designed and curated by UK-based photographer Stuart Pilkington. The concept of the “Swap” is simple. One day a photographer takes another photographer’s portrait. On another day, they change roles and the photographer becomes the subject. “The photographers are encouraged to sprinkle their magic and be creative with their images,” Pilkington says on the website. “They can be as simple or as elaborate as they want, as literal or as abstract as they wish.” When both images are ready, they are sent to “The Swap” via email and published on the site. Each set of images are visible on the home page of the site for a few days and then archived. Visit “The Swap” for more information or if you would like to participate.
