Northwest Focus is currently on view at Photo Center NW in Seattle. “Spanning Edward Curtis to Imogen Cunningham to Isaac Layman, this exhibition touches on the history and future of our medium and our region.” the center said in a statement. Highlights include “Magnolia Blossom, Tower of Jewels” by Cunningham, “American Airlines Boeing 757-200” by Jeffrey Milstein, “Tola” by Eirik Johnson and Jim Marshall’s portrait of Jimi Hendrix from the Winterland Ballroom in 1968. These pieces, and many more, were donated and will be auctioned off as part of the center’s 20th Anniversary Benefit on Friday, October 18.
