Co-founder of Magnum Photos, Robert Capa is renown for his contributions to photographing wars from the Spanish Civil War to the First Indochina War, during which he died while on assignment. “Death in the Making: Photographs of War by Robert Capa” runs through August 17 at the Atlas Gallery in London. In addition to Capa’s photographs, the exhibit displays the rare Leica camera that launched his photography career. The exhibit also features work from Soviet photojournalist Dmitri Baltermants.
