Florida-based photographer Pablo Soria uses created his series, “Nocturnal” through long exposures of the night sky in his homeland, San Miguel de Tucumán in Argentina. He uses the darkened night sky as a means to “draw out” his compositions. Through the manipulation of light, he renders the familiar unfamiliar and presents the viewer with images referencing his memory of place.

“Nocturnal” is currently on view a the Schneider Gallery in Chicago through June 29. Also on view is “Fathom and Fray” by Caleb Charland.
