PDN Photo of the Day

Inspired By Corner Stores and Cheap Ads

Sergiy Barchuk is a Philadelphia-based photographer who has been shooting for three years, and only within the last year pursuing editorial assignments. Barchuck told PDN his “current inspiration comes from corner stores and cheap advertisements. Overall, I strive to achieve a certain amount of ambiguity and contextual flatness in my images by focusing on compositional relationships between subject matter and color.”
