Growing up in Marquette Mi, the Shiras name was all around – I saw some copies of these (I think) at the Peter White Public library – He died in Marquette and is buried there. I may be wrong on this, but if I remember right, those images were done at Presque Isle Park – *sigh, it’s beautiful in the summer, gotta get back!
