Out In The Cold: Homeless in Mongolia

Photo by Sean Gallagher. Gallagher’s project examines homelessness in Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia. The global financial crisis, and the rising costs of food and fuel, threaten Mongloia’s homeless population, who face extreme discrimination and are denied access to basic health and social care.

Battsetseg, 36, is a former nurse who was forced onto the streets ten years ago when she ran out of money during an economic recession. She now lives underground, in a sewer that has hot water pipes running through it, which she and her family use to keep warm.

  1. The root of your writing whilst sounding agreeable at first, did not work perfectly with me after some time. Someplace within the paragraphs you managed to make me a believer unfortunately just for a while. I nevertheless have got a problem with your jumps in assumptions and one would do nicely to help fill in those breaks. In the event that you actually can accomplish that, I would definitely end up being impressed.
