For serious Stones fans only – Taschen has recently released a “SUMO-size” hardcover, 518 page photography book, which includes fold-outs and silkscreen printed chapter openers. Contributing photographers include Anton Corbijn, Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, David Bailey, Peter Beard, and more. Fifty years of photos of The Rolling Stones can be yours for $5,000.
“With their bluesy rock ‘n’ roll and mesmerizing off and onstage presence, the Stones redefined the music of the 1960s and 1970s and paved the way for rock as we know it today,” the publisher said in a statement about the book.
The Rolling Stones is available in a limited collector’s edition of 1,150, each copy signed by band members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood. Art editions that include a photographic print are also available.
