Working for Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland is one of the largest EDM (Electronic Dance Music) festivals in Europe. This annual event takes place all over the world. Last year, in Belgium, the festival drew a crowd of over 360,000 EDM enthusiasts. A ticket for the three-day festival costs 300 euros, ad in 2014, the festival brought 70 million euros into to the Belgian economy. To avoid paying the steep ticket price, some EDM fans opt to work at the festival, yet many of them, in exchange for the free ticket, work for free. Photojournalist Jonathan Rashad documented a variety of festival workers to show the contrast between the their experience and the experiences of other festival goers.
