Julienne Schaer, formerly a forensic photographer for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, is currently a photojournalist specializing in editorial and events. Some of Schaer’s long-term projects include the Hudson River Park for the HRP Trust, the construction and installation of “Jane’s Carousel” in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and over five years documenting the building of Brooklyn Bridge Park, a 1.3 mile waterfront park along Brooklyn’s the East River Shoreline. The Park is also the home of Photoville, where Schaer will be exhibiting some of the 6,000 images from her “Build of Brooklyn Bridge Park” project.
Photoville begins this Thursday, September 19, 2013, at 4pm and runs through Sunday, September 29. Photoville will be closed Monday, September 23 through Wednesday, September 25.
